We strongly recommend the use of a headspace case gauge to properly adjust the size die for optimal performance and case life. For high-volume reloaders—such as commercial operations, law enforcement, and competitive shooters in high power or service rifle disciplines—we also offer .223 and .308 die sets featuring full-length carbide sizing dies. While lubrication is still required, the added scratch resistance and extended die life of carbide construction provide significant benefits to these users. The depriming assembly includes a carbide expander ball that enables smooth, "squeak-free" neck expansion, and it is strategically positioned in the middle of the depriming stem to maximize leverage and make extraction easier. Additionally, this assembly is designed to function as a stuck case remover when necessary. The bullet seating die features an internal design that maintains bullet alignment throughout the seating process, ensuring that the only measurable runout is what’s inherent in the bullet itself. The taper crimp die is precisely engineered to center both the case neck and body for a more uniform and consistent crimp.
